- A drawn (inverted) nipple is a phenomenon in which the nipple is partially or entirely placed inside the breast. Usually this form of nipple does not pose a health risk and is only an aesthetic feature, but depending on the degree of tension can cause difficulties for breastfeeding. The most effective way to correct the nipple is plastic surgery.
- This operation is necessary for oversized nipples (congenital or after childbirth and breast-feeding). With a simple operation to remove excess tissue, you can reduce the nipple and give it an aesthetic shape.
- This operation is necessary for an oversized areola around the nipple. The excess area of the areola is reconstructed to reach the desired size. As a rule, after the operation the scar is not noticeable, as the stitches are applied on the contour of the areola, but for very large size the scar might be noticeable. Usually this operation is recommended along breast reduction.
Gynecomastia (enlarged breast correction for men) in Korea
Gynecomastia corrects the enlargement of the breast gland in men due to pathological growth of glandular breast tissue or excessive deposit of fat tissue.
If the cause is excessive fat deposition, correction is carried out with the help of liposuction. A small incision (about 0.5 cm) is made and the surgeon removes the fat excess.
If the cause is the presence of glandular tissue, surgeons correct it by removing breast tissue and doing liposuction. The incision is made around the nipple (about 2-3cm), and the surgeon removes the fat excess, giving new shape to the chest.
