Once-a-century pandemia hit everyone and changed the way we live. <a href=\"https:\/\/medicalavenuekorea.com\/en\/coronavirus-in-korea\/coronavirus-in-korea\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">COVID-19<\/a> transformed how we work, how we relate and do our daily activities. Online reunions, online family meetings started everywhere and medicine, particularly medical tourism, should adapt to this new reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hence, with the telemedicine project the Korean Government is trying to provide an efficient solution for those patients in Kazakhstan and other regions across CIS countries who cannot come to Korea due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, but still want to hear Korean doctor\u2019s opinions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-how-will-the-telemedicine-project-work\">How will the telemedicine project work?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">First, to develop the telemedicine project, Korean authorities assigned Samsung Medical Center as the medical institution in charge with the assistance of our company, Medical Avenue. Our team in South Korea will coordinate the request process with the Samsung Medical Center international team and find the best possible doctor to assess the case. If the case is considered for the telemedicine project, <a href=\"\/en\/medical-facilitator\/about-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">our team<\/a> will start coordinating the process with both hospitals.
