We organized the session on a clear Saturday morning at the 30th floor of the Ritz-Carlton Almaty Hotel, in Kazakhstan. Seven leading institutions and actors around the topic gathered to have 30-minutes-conversations with the audience: Fidelity Fitness Club demonstrated the effects of exercise on our mind and body. After that, we had a dance class by Galla Dance partners that reminded us why dancing is one of the best tools to relieve stress. Finally, the participants had the chance to relax under the yoga movements and techniques of Six Senses Spa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On a more medical perspective Mrs. Yekaterina Li, founder and CEO of Medical Avenue, grabbed the attention of the guests after questioning their knowledge on preventive medicine and showing them the life-saving difference between having a once-a-year health screening. She was emphatic on the fight against noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) and what a one-stop examination can do for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Complementing the medical part\u00a0Dream Plastic Group, a pioneering plastic surgery clinic<\/a> from South Korea, presented us with natural options to combat the aging process and some of the available options for when we are looking for an immediate result.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end, some of our sponsors and participants raffled generous prizes for those who were enjoying the healthy lunch menu prepared by the Ritz-Carlton chef.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the winners we had a lucky couple who is going to fly business class from Almaty, KZ, to Seoul, South Korea<\/a> on Air Astana. Others were the happy recipients of a $1,000 USD value voucher for plastic and cosmetic treatment at Dream Plastic Surgery<\/a>. A set of innovative vitamin juices packages and a full massage therapy session at Six Senses Spa were among other gifts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We hope this first educative session will be useful to our guests and will also establish the first stone for more events like this one!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
