It affects knees, hips, neck and lower back most commonly. People with overweight, overuse of joints (ex. athletes) or after an injury is prone to develop osteoarthritis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This joint disease causes inflammation, stiffness and pain, thus decreasing the joint range of motion. People with this problem may have troubles doing daily activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:50px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-osteoarthritis-common-treatments\">Osteoarthritis common treatments<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There are three common ways to treat osteoarthritis:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Non-pharma treatment: In South Korea some acupuncture and <a href=\"\/en\/medical-specialties\/korean-traditional-medicine-treatment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Korean Traditional Medicine <\/a>therapies are available for foreign patients. Exercise and diets can help.<\/li><li>Medical drugs for pain control: NSAIDS and prescription pain killers are normal.
